Much to our surprise when we went down to the garden yesterday, there were tons of squash and cucumbers to bring in! Sunburst patty pans #2-5 and the first zucchini too.

...and a fair number of black beans too. We're growing these to dry, so we left the pods on the plants until they got dry, and then de-podded them to let them dry some more.

A few days ago we pulled this in from the garden. Our squash are doing really well and we have what seem like hundreds of baby cucumbers! Beans are doing ok (soy beans are setting extremely heavily, but our other beans have a little bit of stippling on the leaves). The tomatoes are doing ok (and growing back their leaves)...hopefully we won't have another wave of hornworms...
